From the moment we achieve planning consent, our build operations and site management teams take complete ownership of development projects. They deliver award-winning homes that enhance thousands of people’s surroundings and create security for households across the Midlands and the East of England.

Our Site Managers and Project Managers oversee the installation of roads and essential utilities, whilst supervising the army of trade experts from bricklayers to plumbers who build our properties Health, Safety, Welfare and Wellbeing is paramount in all our work – as is the strongest commitment to delivering for our customers.

We trust them to think for themselves as they find, create and shape great spaces for people to live across a wide range of tenures and development types, all the while meeting some really ambitious targets.

Our land teams are responsible for getting out and about in the region to research and identify the best sites for us to build on. One day you could be liaising with a private landowner – perhaps a farmer – to negotiate a land purchase for a site to build 50 homes on, whilst the next day you could be meeting with a strategic partner like a local authority to progress a deal for land which will create a new community of 1,000 homes.

Working closely with colleagues in Operations, Sales and Finance, the team reviews and assesses land opportunities, deciding the type of tenure each site is best suited to, arranging planning consent, and progressing consent through to completion. Whether you work as a land manager or in a support role ensuring that legal and technical documentation is effectively completed, you’ll make a vital contribution.
