Each year we invest £4 million back into our communities, making a positive difference to our customers’ lives.

Targeted support

We target our investment in six key areas where income levels are at their lowest. In each, we have a community plan in place to improve the local environment, increase community engagement and bring new investment. Working with local partners, each plan reflects the differing local priorities, to ensure Orbit’s investment makes the greatest possible impact.

Our Better Days programme supports our customers beyond their residential needs and helps thousands of people every year to find employment, improve their digital and money management skills and their overall well-being.

Tenancy sustainment

We are reviewing our approach to the tenancies we offer and the support and advice we provide to our customers to achieve successful and sustainable tenancies. At the heart of this change is a brand new, sector-leading coaching model, turning our current service inside out from a support and actions based model, to one focused on empowerment and coaching. As a responsible landlord responding to a challenging environment, we believe that our new coaching model will not only support thousands of people to manage their tenancies and homes better and for longer, but also support them into employment and with their general wellbeing.
