In this 12 month scheme, you’ll be welcomed into a team at Orbit in an entry-level role, practically anywhere across the organisation. We have previously recruited Apprentices in Finance, Information Technology (IT), HR, Lettings, Marketing (to name just a few!). You’ll be supported by your team as you learn on the job and get the chance to achieve a well recognised apprenticeship during your time with us.
As part of our highly successful Apprenticeship Programme, you’ll also have the chance to get together with all the other Apprentices and deliver your own project. Our recent Cohort delivered a fabulous wellbeing programme for our employees. As a result, they were nominated as Finalists for 2 prestigious awards in 2019 for their efforts.

A well recognised qualification
You will undertake a well recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Apprenticeship whilst gaining useful experience with both on and off the job training.
You will develop the skills you need to fulfil your ambitions and on successful completion of your Apprenticeship, you'll have a years experience in industry with the opportunity to move into a permanent role on a competitive salary.
Competitive salary starting at £15,000 per annum.
|Lunchtime Learning Sessions
These sessions are hosted by Senior people within the business and take place every 2 months over lunch. They provide a really valuable insight into other areas of the business.

We will also provide you with a Personal Development Plan to support your learning during your time on our programme.

Our apprenticeship programme is open to anyone over the age of 16. To be eligible to apply, you will need to have 5 GCSE’s at Grades A-C (9-4). You may have just left school, or college, or may be coming to us much later on in life, looking to build new skills or find a way into work.
Virtual Recruitment Process
In light of COVID-19, we have adjusted the way in which we recruit to our programmes. Our process for the foreseeable future during the pandemic will be:
- First Stage: If you’re shortlisted for the Apprenticeship we’ll contact you to undertake a short pre-telephone screening interview.
- Second Stage: If you’re successful from the pre-telephone screening interview we’ll invite you to undertake an online assessment(s).
- Third Stage: If you’re successful further to the results of the online assessment, we will invite you to a virtual interview which will be via Microsoft Teams.
Applications for our Apprenticeship Programme open in June, with assessments throughout July and a September start date.
