Brian Nearney

Brian Nearney joined Orbit in 2022 as Regional Managing Director, overseeing the successful delivery of new homes and regeneration projects across the South and Midlands, before being appointed Chief Development Officer in September 2025. 

Prior to joining Orbit, Brian served as Commercial Director at The University of Cambridge, where he was responsible for its extensive development and housebuilding programme, as well as its land strategy.

With decades of experience in residential development, Brian has held senior leadership roles with PLC housebuilders and developers.
